America is my country, but #Seoul is my hometown. There is something so soothing to me about this city, with the topsy-turvy combination of new & sleek contrasted with old & meandering. The moment I see my river begin to rise in the bus windows, my soul relaxes and I know it’s all ok. To stand, looking out over a city as old as time. Knowing that for centuries, one nation after another (often repeatedly) tried to stamp out its #culture and #Heritage only for Seoul to stay standing. It’s a Beautiful feeling – Here for 14 days!

It has come to my attention that at the end of quarantine, I will have had rice-based meals for lunch & dinner for 29 days with one notable noodle exception. 😂 🍚 That means 57 meals with rice in a row - I may or may not turn into a rice ball myself by the end 😂 😂
Lunch in quarantine! Rice, green onion, chicken hearts, and diced zucchini and tofu noodles 😃
Chicken Hearts? 🤔 Haven't had this dish before 😂 On my third week of mandatory quarantine in #China! I'll be free by April 1!
Let the world know I was here. . . . The skies were breathtaking yesterday.
Been a while since I needed these in hand!
The Eagles of Clarksville, Missouri - fishing near the lock & dam!
Enjoy your time there and let your being relax. I feel the same way when I am in Amsterdam and Oslo. Breath in, breath out.
