Check out my new design! ππ
Simple checkered pattern in blues and pinks creating a natural backdrop that creates an ambiance of spring, winter, or ocean scapes. The design is available on tons of products at my store!

One of my favorite mediums of art is Asian stonework c whether statues or the many scupltures woven into temples and palaces, I never fail to be impressed. π

#Chinese c-store treats include corn on the cob and tea soaked duck eggs. π It’s funny to me how concepts of what constitutes a ‘treat’ changes culture to culture.
WHAT’S YOUR GO TO C-STORE SNACK?

View from #CCTV tower. It was such a beautiful day for taking pictures! ππ· You could see clear to the mountains and most of the city. You can see my last post for directions if you want to check it out yourself!

Checked out the #CCTV Tower in #Beijing yesterday, and it turned out to be a GORGEOUS day for it! Was going to go to the forbidden city, but changed our minds . . . glad we did, this trip was perfect. Great view, clear skies, and not too many people π 90RMB TICKET (without meal at revolving restaurant or undersea world).
Take line 1 or 10 to Gongzhufen Station (exit A). Follow map directions to cross over to the bus station (about 5 minute walk). Take any of the buses shown (437 is 1 stop, 977 is 2 stops) the correct number of stops. Get off and see the tower!

Beware – all who enter here. Come with good intentions or taste good with BBQ – either way. I love the Chinese #chimera statues β€π Very majestic looking, but I also feel they would be friendly!

Let the adventures begin ~ #Beijing here I come! So excited to show my mom the city sights β€ Any recomnendations of where to go and where not to go (don’t have a ton of money π)?
