The World Through #Tech Eyes

14 Jul

The #Tech world – always communicating behind glass, usually with filters distorting the view.  Looking each other face – to – face might help us see one another more clearly.

Mozarella #Cheese Corn Dog! – #Foodie

9 Jul

Mozarella Cheese Corn Dog – 2,000 KRW – at #Namdaemun Street Market in #Seoul (the oldest traditional market in the city)

Better than #myeongdong imo.

Legit #KoreanFood

6 Jul

#koreanfood done right!  Seoul Train Station has a restaurant on 4th floor called ‘Korean Restaurant’ (inventive huh?! 😂).  It is SO GOOD!  #motherdearest ordered the #galbi stew and I ordered #Bulgogi.  All the side dishes came with.  Garlic, Leaf wraps, Kimchi, Radish, Soy Soup, etc.  #Yummy

The City that Survives

1 Jul

America is my country, but #Seoul is my hometown.  There is something so soothing to me about this city, with the topsy-turvy combination of new & sleek contrasted with old & meandering.  The moment I see my river begin to rise in the bus windows, my soul relaxes and I know it’s all ok.  To stand, looking out over a city as old as time.  Knowing that for centuries, one nation after another (often repeatedly) tried to stamp out its #culture and #Heritage only for Seoul to stay standing.  It’s a Beautiful feeling – Here for 14 days!

MBC Filming Crew!

30 Apr

Cool! Was walking through Seoul yesterday when we passed by the MBC offices near Yeouido Station. Got a chance to see a filming crew in action! Never seen one before, so it was amazing 🙂 He was in handcuffs and was running to jump in a car. Escape! 😛
