#Cafe on the Plan, #Seoul

4 Jun

One of my top 3 favorite #cafes in #Seoul is Cafe on the Plan in #Chungmuro District. Gorgeous atmosphere, good #bagels & #peachtea, and karge windows for watching the world go by. Chungmuro is more real-town Seould rather than Tourism Seoul. I love it πŸ’•

(Btw, my other two are Traveller’s Cafe in Ihwa Mural Area and Holly’s Caffe near Insa-dong.).

27 Apr

Excitement!

The new #KPOP band #Target were flying with us today to #Japan! We Checked in right beside them and then flew out on the same flight.

I hadn’t heard of them yet, but the Fan girls were out on force and brought me up to date πŸ˜€ 4th KPOP band I’ve seen on my travels!

Awesomeness!

Travel #Foodie – Green Tea Chocolate

3 Feb

Ok Korea, I Love a good hot cocoa and this mint Chocolate was delish. But WHY add the green tea tree on top?!? Cocoa doesn’t need tea! And I thought it was a mint cookie. . . . it was horrible! Trickery I tell you! But seriously, if you’re in Korea for the #olympics, you gotta try their cafes. They are SO good. Cafe Bene and Angel-N-Us are two of my faves. Fellow #traveler, which coffee shop is your guilty pleasure?

Using Union Pay at #Korea ATM

1 Jan

How to use a Chinese Union Pay card at a Korean atm. 😜 I had to learn through trial & error. Hope this saves some Chinese residents visiting Korea!
1. Click button that says English (with #Chinese characters below) – you cannot actually use a union pay card and English – so it has to be done in Chinese.

2. Choice 2 – ‘Foreign Card δΈεœ‹θͺž’ – That’s Chinese

3. Put in your card.

4. Choose ‘CUP’ – Chinese Union Pay

5. Choose the top left button (first button) – 俑用卑(credit card)

6. Choose the top left button (first choice) – ε–ηŽ° (take cash)

7. Now it will ask you how much Won you want.

8. Enter you Bank Card password.

9. Take receipt, card, then cash!
Hooray!!

Well done!
