#Pumpkin Carving! Ee have a large #German supermarket called #Metro in #Changchun. Last weekend, this guy was there #carving pumpkins for buyers. So Awesome!

Totally awesome haunted house tonight. So proud of my juniors! All by themselves, they planned and put the party on. The 3rd and fourth floors had been transformed. Piles of leaves all through the halls and rooms, scattered chair overturned for the ‘abandoned effect’! The classrooms were amazing – evil butcher room with the creepy guy chopping bloody stuff; creepy dead bride in her red wedding dress, ghosts everywhere including up in the window ledges – they’d jump from the ceiling to scare people. 😱👻 People hiding under tables or in fabric screens would grab your feet 😂 I loved it! Such a great job!

Door #Warmers – Life Up North
18 Oct#Changchun (my home city in #China ) just started putting up these red ‘door’ warmers for the winter. Supposedly, it’s so that our hands don’t freeze to the door handle. 😱❄ If your doors need anti-freeze mechanisms, It’s time to just give up, bury yourself in a blankie, and hibernate until Spring comes next JULY! (**Apparently, I moved to the frozen tundra 😭)
To be fair. . . . We’ve been wearing heavy winter coats, hats, Thermal gloves, scarves, and breathing smoke signals since mid-October

2 OctFun times with a 5 hour #layover at #ICN #airport! The historical parade was out in force for photo shoots, and #angelinus coffee served up some delicious #peachtea and cookies & cream smoothie.
#Didi Adventures!
1 OctGave the poor Didi driver (Uber’s alternative) a heart attack today. Guy and his wife/girlfriend picked me up. Took us forever to coordinate the pick-up spot. I could here him ranting about “xxxxx Didi xxxx waijiao xxxx Didi.” Looked at my phone and realized it was only their 2nd time being Didi drivers. 0_0 And they got the crazy foreigner LOLOLOL Poor dude. My mind was running the conversation through to something like “this is just my luck! Why, we just did it, and we got the foreigner! Why me!?!” I didn’t know how to tell him it’s his luck because it’s my luck. I was only taking Didi because I left my jacket at the store and this was my second trip of the day 😛 -_-
He got so turned around he drove past my street, figured out that construction has blocked off all streets for the next 2 miles, had to turn around and go back. Couldn’t find the road. . . . . Girlfriend is hysterically laughing at him while trying to explain she knew only a “little English. English – – – think too difficult.” Had me laughing too. I think he wanted to kill us both by the time the trip was over. Sweet heart that he was, he did try to carry my waters home for me though.

9 SepThe eastern end of Yeongjong-do Island in #Inchon, #southkorea.
The ICN airport is on one end, and this park & #fishmarket is at the other. We’re staying at the Royal Emporium hotel tonight. My school booked a cheap hotel for us, which happened to be a brand new, beautiful place right on the #waterfront. One hour Ride on bus 203 from the airport. No foreigners, and lots of yummy cafes, Fish shops, Beer & chicken stops, etc. So much fresh Flounder, Lobsters, Shrimp, and crabs! The crowd is great & atmosphere is upbeat. You can also take the ferry to Wolmido from here!
